My Go To Workouts!

I think this was my most requested blog post to make so I thought I might as well go ahead and make it ;). First off I want to say my daily workout routine is NEVER the same. I get girls who DM me asking what my workout is everyday and I do not have an answer because I am constantly switching what I do. I also would like to say I am not a personal trainer and what I do for my body may not be what you want to do or what you think is correct! I am just sharing an overview of what my daily workouts would consist of!

I am a lover of running and as a model it is super important to get in cardio but cardio can be very boring to some. I like to run, walk on incline do HIIT or do intervals on the stair master. The first two are self explanatory but the second two could confuse some. HIIT is high intensity interval training. HIIT can range from 30 seconds of  sprinting as fast as you can then a 30 second break and so on, or it can include jump squats, burpees, split jumps, mountain climbers, jumping lunges… etc. HIIT is my personal favorite because when I finished I am drenched in sweat and that is my goal ;). The intervals I do on the stair master are 5 minutes going as fast and as hard as you can and then 5 minutes of “toning” such as 1 minute of skipping every other step, 1 minute leg kick backs, one minute walking the stairs sideways on each leg & the last minute back to skipping every other step. I repeat this until I am totally dead, usually 30-45-60 minutes, whatever i’m feeling that day.

For my toning (MY FAVORITE) I do a lot of pilates moves, light weights and resistance bands. Yes ladies I will tell you my favorite exercises I do for my abs ;) but I hate to tell you that abs really come from the kitchen. Put the pizza and coke down!!!! I am a guilty trainer of the abs everyday just because I love having my abs feel super tight. I like weighted ab work such as, cable crunches, weighted jackknifes, russian twists, kettle bell swings.. etc. But I also do the classic leg lifts, reverse crunches, crunches bicycle crunches. I like to take use an exercise ball and do pikes, knee ins, side tabs and crunches.. I do 3 sets of 15. TRX ropes are one of my favorites for my abs as well because it is intense body weight, I do suspended crunches and pikes! I also love bosu ball mountain climbers! (Try 50!). I add hanging leg lifts in my ab routine as well! I like to pick 5 or 6 ab exercises that target each section of my abs (upper, lower, obliques and back) and do 3 sets of 15. For my arms I do light weights (8 to 12 lbs) and for my booooooty I LOVEEEEEE my resistance bands and ankle weights and TRX ropes. Resistance bands are amazing because they tone your muscles while also leaving them super long and lean. I put the resistance band around my knees and do “walking squats” and knick backs to the front, side and back. Ankle weights are great for toning your booty. I do donkey kicks, fire hydrants, and leg raises with a pulse (3x15). TRX ropes are great to do jump squats and jumping lunges. Also one legged lunges pulsing. Other workouts I do for my butt are weighted squats, lunges and the leg press!
