This is one of my favorite ways to eat a sweet potato! Sweet potatoes are full of vitamin A, potassium and fiber. They can help aid in digestion and regularity, while also helping inflammation. Sweet potatoes have more nutrients and less calories than regular white potatoes also!
Chia seeds are one of my favorite super foods! They are loaded with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and various micronutrients.
Flax Seed (one of the most powerful plant foods on the planet) are full of fiber, lignans & omega-3 fatty acids.
Flax & Chia Crusted Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 1 Large Sweet Potato
- Dash of Turmeric
- Dash of Pepper
- Dash of Himalayan Pink salt
- 1 TBS Chia Seeds
- 1 TBS Flaxseed
- 1 TBS Olive Oil
Instructions
- Cut the sweet potato into fries.
- Mix all the Ingredients together in a bowl.
- Toss Sweet potatoes in the olivenoil/chia/flax mix.
- Throw on baking sheet & bake until golden brown!
