As a person who travels a bit and likes to take healthy snacks and meals with me 24/7 I wanted to share some tips on how I stay healthy while traveling!
First I always bring a protein bar of some kind but my favorite are Go Macro Bars they’re vegan, gluten-free, organic, R.A.W., C.L.E.A.N., kosher and non-GMO project verified. Also, they’re all made with simple, clean & real ingredients. These bars are super easy to just through in your purse or carry on to grab when you’re hungry!
I also like to keep some sort of snacks with me when I travel! I love my protein balls or raw-nola that I have the recipe for in my previous posts.
Some healthy snacks I travel with:
- goji berries
- nuts
- fruits
- veggies
- protein balls
- protein bar
- hard boiled eggs
- seaweed
- green juices
Airport food can be tricky, some airports have great salad bars and restaurants inside while others have legit nothing.. so I always bring a home made salad in a container and throw it in my carry on! I usually make it vegan so it won’t get bad! (chickpeas, veggies, avo, tofu, sweet potato, seeds & lemon)
Now airplane food is just down right disgusting so you can thank me later for bringing these snacks and pre-made salad with ;) hahaha.
